How we rate casinos
Every score on this site comes from the same formula, applied the same way, whether the operator pays us more or less per signup. This page shows the actual math, not "our proprietary algorithm": just six factors, real weights, and a worked example (hypothetical until a real review is live).
Step one: the gate
Before any casino gets a score, it has to clear a basic trust check. This isn't weighted into the average. It's a gate. Fail it, and no bonus or game library is generous enough to save you.
- No valid, checkable gambling license
- A documented pattern of unpaid or indefinitely "under review" withdrawals from more than one player source
- Bonus terms changed retroactively, after a player already qualified
- Evidence of manipulated game outcomes or rigged RTP
Fail any of these and the casino is capped at a "Trash" score regardless of how the other five factors score, or left out of our reviews entirely if it's bad enough. We'll say why, specifically, in the review, not just "avoid this one."
Step two: five weighted factors
Once a casino clears the gate, we score five things, each based on our own testing, not the operator's marketing copy. Weights reflect what actually protects you as a player, not what makes for the flashiest homepage.
Measured from our own real-money test withdrawals, not the operator's stated "processing time."
Wagering requirement, max cashout caps, and whether the terms match what's advertised at signup.
Daily/weekly/monthly caps and how they hold up against a real win, not just a $50 test cash-out.
Response time and whether a real person can actually fix a real problem, tested with a real ticket.
Breadth and quality of slots, table games, and live dealer. Weighted lowest, since it's the easiest thing for an operator to fake with a big number on a landing page.
Step three: what the score means
Each factor gets a 1–5 star rating from whoever tested it. We convert that to a percentage, multiply by the factor's weight, and add the five results together. Here's what the final percentage translates to:

None of the four Novatrix casinos on this site have been tested yet, so there's no real score to walk through. Here's the same formula applied to made-up numbers for a fictional "Example Casino," just to show how the weighting works. This whole section gets replaced with a real casino's real test data the moment the first review is done.
